Drive Leadership Extended Test Drives

We are excited to announce an innovative new program through Drive Electric Northern Colorado called the Drive Leadership program. DENC is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to achieve widespread deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) in the Northern Colorado region. Increasing the adoption EVs is good for the environment, critical to reducing our dependence on oil, and also saves money– they are also really great cars!

The Drive Leadership effort is designed to give leaders at Northern Colorado companies and organizations the opportunity to take an EV on a test drive for up to five business days. This extended test drive experience helps give leaders and decision makers like you, a firsthand experience with an EV.  With this program we hope to create EV advocates throughout the region who take us one step closer to being a national leader in EV adoption. The Drive Leadership program was a great success during the first pilot with CSU (watch video here) and we hope it will encourage others like you to participate.

Participating in Drive Leadership is easy – DENC will connect you with a local dealership who can then schedule an extended test drive for you. Drive Leadership is an easy opportunity to try the newest transportation technology for an extended test drive and we hope you’ll join others who are getting behind the wheel.

What Do I Need To Do?

The purpose of Drive Leadership program is to create EV advocates throughout the region who take us one step closer to being a national leader in EV adoption. After your Drive, we ask that you help us spread the word about your experience and about EVs in one or more of the following ways.

  • Host a Ride and Drive at your workplace for your colleagues and employees (Contact DENC at Info@DriveElectricNoco.org)
  • Consider joining the Northern Colorado Workplace Charging Challenge, where over 15 Northern Colorado companies, and over 175 companies across the U.S. are offering EV charging at the workplace.
  • Reach out to your partners, supporters, and business contacts about the opportunity and share your experience (Drive Leadership Email)
  • Share your experience through company’s Facebook, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn
  • Share your experience through your personal Facebook, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn
