DENC will be offering an EV shuttle at the Sustainable Living Fair this year, where you can test drive up to six different EV models to and from the fair, or just take them for a spin if you would like to test them out! We will have more details in the coming weeks for this event. Please check out the Sustainable Living Fair website for more details about the larger event. Find us in the parking lot behind Odell Brewing Company to test drive. The entrance to the parking lot is on Buckingham Ave, click here to see the location on a map.

DENC will be hosting a business workshop in partnership with the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado State University, and Drive Electric Northern Colorado. These four organizations, along with 15 companies in the region, have joined together in a program to provide and promote electric vehicle (EV) charging at the workplace.
The Workplace Charging Challenge is important because 90% of EV charging takes place at home or at the workplace, creating a significant opportunity for employers to increase EV adoption. DENC has also found through our research in Northern Colorado that 89% of Northern Coloradoans would be more likely to purchase an EV if they had the ability to charge at the workplace. Ultimately, this represents a great opportunity as a company to decrease the harmful tailpipe emissions associated with employee commutes to the workplace. This incredible employee benefit has also been shown to increase employee retention and attract the best and brightest applicants.
This workshop will cover topics for businesses in Loveland and Fort Collins to learn about workplace charging including policies, implementation, installation, infrastructure options, and others. Representatives from workplaces that currently offer workplace charging will speak about their experience and lessons gained by offering charging, as well as their motivation for participating in the Workplace Charging Challenge. We invite businesses to join this opportunity to learn how your company or organization can join this exciting new initiative.
September 15 from 9:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m. Colorado State University Lory Student Center in Room 312.

Open Streets events invite people to experience public streets in new ways. By temporarily closing streetsto traffic, Open Streets provides a safe and comfortable space for people to walk, bicycle, jog, rollerblade and play! DENC fits with Open Streets by supporting a clean transportation option and by helping local businesses learn about the numerous EV programs for businesses. We will be doing a smaller version of a Ride and Drive so event guests can experience EVs first-hand!
September 20 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Remington St. between Mountain and Prospect, Fort Collins, CO, 80524. More details about the location of the DENC booth to come!
