Upcoming Events

Northern Colorado is quickly becoming a leader in plug-in electric vehicle adoption. Visit a DENC Ride and Drive to see why more and more people are driving electric. Try the next generation of transportation and learn how plugging in can save money, reduce our dependence on oil, reduce pollution, and give a superior driving experience.

City of Fort Collins Ride and Drive

This is a private Ride and Drive for City of Fort Collins employees.

July 30; 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

This is a private event but you can sign up to volunteer here.

CSU Lagoon Concert Ride and Drive

Come see Danielle Ate the Sandwich at the Colorado State University Lagoon and test drive one of the Chevy Volt plug-ins that we will be bringing to this fun outing. There will be food trucks and family fun at this event. Music and test drives start at 6:30 pm!

August 5; starting at 6:30 p.m. At the CSU Lagoon next to the CSU Recreation Center.

CSU Powerhouse Ride and Drive

This is a private event but you can sign up to volunteer here.

August 7; 11 a.m. –  2 p.m.

Crazy Days at Centerra Marketplace 

DENC will be shuttling visitors attending the Sculpture Show at the Benson Sculpture Garden to and from the Centerra shopping center. The Centerra’s Crazy Days event features free outdoor fun and entertainment for the whole family, back-to-school specials, sidewalk sales, and more. Take advantage of all this event has to offer by traveling in style between attractions in an electric vehicle, including a Tesla!

August 8; 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and August 9; 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Centerra Marketplace and the Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland. More details about exact locations to come.

Green Ride Public Launch

Come discover different ways you can green your airport commute at the Green Ride public launch of its new shuttle service center in Loveland. This great service allows inexpensive travel from many locations along the Front Range to Denver International Airport. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony, delicious barbecue, and the opportunity to test drive up to six different models of electric vehicles.

August 11; 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Green Ride Central: 4825 Earhart Rd, Loveland, CO 80538.

Drive Electric Northern Colorado plans to host and participate in events in the region to allow people to learn more about plug-in electric vehicle technology.

Events will include opportunities to learn from experts about:

  • How electric vehicles save you money
  • The great features of different electric vehicle models
  • How to charge electric vehicles
  • The role electric vehicles play in curbing harmful emissions
  • How electric vehicles help reduce U.S. dependence on oil

You will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the newest cars available.

Drive Electric Northern Colorado is also always looking for events where we can partner with interested stakeholders and connect with crowds so please contact us if you have ideas for other events or are interested in joining or hosting an event.  Also, sign up to be notified when we add a new event.
