Drive Electric Northern Colorado plans to host and participate in events in the region to allow people to learn more about plug-in electric vehicle technology.

Events will include opportunities to learn from experts about:

  • How electric vehicles save you money
  • The great features of different electric vehicle models
  • How to charge electric vehicles
  • The role electric vehicles play in curbing harmful emissions
  • How electric vehicles help reduce U.S. dependence on oil

You will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the newest cars available.

Drive Electric Northern Colorado is also always looking for events where we can partner with interested stakeholders and connect with crowds so please contact us if you have ideas for other events or are interested in joining or hosting an event.  Also, sign up to be notified when we add a new event.

Northern Colorado is quickly becoming a leader in plug-in electric vehicle adoption – 2013 we were 42% above the national average! Come see why more and more people are making the change from an internal combustion engine to an EV. Try the next generation of transportation, learn how plugging in can save money, reduce oil dependency, reduce pollution, and give a superior driving experience.

FC Bikes Presents Open Streets 

Sunday July 20th, 10-3 pm  Laurel St. (Remington to Lesser) and Whedbee St. (Laurel to Prospect)

Open Streets are temporary events that invite people to experience public streets in ways other than driving. By temporarily closing streets to motorized traffic, Open Streets provide a safe and comfortable space for people to walk, bicycle, jog, rollerblade and play! The City of Fort Collins will host two Open Streets events in 2014 to encourage physical activity, increase active transportation opportunities and build community.

Saturday August 2nd, 11-2 pm at Jax Outdoor Gear

Bohemian Nights at New West Fest

August 15-17th in Downtown Fort Collins

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest features a stellar entertainment lineup throughout the weekend with eight stages of entertainment. Six music stages, the Dance Showcase Stage and Kids’ World Stage making a total of eight stages of continuous entertainment to satisfy every audience.  This community celebration will offer over 250 festival booths, an interactive and playful Kids’ World, a carnival, great Colorado beer, wine and margaritas and lots of mouth-watering food.  All ages are welcome and all performances are free to the public.
